How to use the Storm LGR Extreme Dehumidifier?

The Storm LGR Extreme Dehumidifier features an easy-to-operate control panel. The humidistat is set at 50%, from the manufacturer. However, you can adjust the humidity levels to your preferences. You are provided with the up and down arrows that direct you in the adjustment process.

It is important to place the unit on a level and steady surface while transporting, storing, or operating it. The unit will serve you best in operation if you place it in an open location. Make sure that you allow it sufficient space to launch. It is advised that you should keep it 8 inches away from any form of obstruction. In particular, make sure that there is no obstruction along the inlet air channels and the outlets of the unit.

Furthermore, you are also advised to replace it vertically on its wheels for thirty minutes, if it was transported in a horizontal position.

With an external hose for draining water from the site, the unit offers flexibility and allows you to deploy it to a wide range of water damage restoration activities and dehumidification tasks. The external hose also allows for easy plugging in so that you can proceed with the water damage restoration without having to interrupt too many times.

Once you have deployed the unit to the operation site, make sure that you direct the hose into a sink or drainage hole and unwind the coiled hose. The hose works best when it is unwound. The speed of the water flow is enhanced when the hose is placed in a more linear position.
