HealthyAir® Air Purifier
The HealthyAir® Air Purifier was designed with Patented eHEPA® Technology that effectively filters air in a highly efficient and innovative 3-stage process, resulting in a safer environment with a healthier breathing zone for occupants. As contaminated air passes through the unit, the Pre-Filter, eHEPA® Filter, and enhanced Carbon Catalytic Filter work in conjunction to collect and deactivate airborne particles; including microorganisms, dust, smoke, allergens, gasses, odors, and VOCs.
HealthyAir® System 3-stage process collectively utilizes the 5 filtration methods of Sieving, Direct impact, Inertial Impaction, Diffusion, and Electrostatic.
The HealthyAir® Air Purifier is the ideal system for use in a multitude of commercial settings. Some of the special applications are:
Dental Offices: Dental offices can be a significant source of contaminants, irritants, and unwanted particles, as well as viruses and bacteria that can impair your health and well-being. Increasingly, dentist offices have identified an urgent need to address indoor air quality.
Nail and Hair Salons: Beauty salons present an almost unique environment in which people are exposed to various chemicals and airborne particles for long periods of time in an enclosed space. In order to keep employees and customers safe from the effect of harmful particles and toxic chemicals, it’s important for such businesses to use effective air purifiers.
Wildfire Smoke: If you are in an area affected by wildfire, you already know that smoke is composed of a tremendous concentration of very fine particulate matter that can wreak havoc on your health. Even if you seal yourself up in your home, those microscopic particles carried by the wind can seep into your offices and homes. Wildfire smoke consists of both large, visible particles of ash, and ultra-fine particles that you cannot see. The large particles quickly settle out of the air onto easily wiped-up surfaces. However, these large particles are not the ones you should be concerned with. It is the ultra-fine particles that can cause major respiratory problems. Healthy Air purifiers will effectively clear the smoke and make a significant improvement in this area.
Depending on the application, one or more units will be required to accommodate large spaces and address higher levels of indoor contaminants.
One unit will cover a space of 500 ft2 of an office setting. While you would use a similar unit for a smaller dental operatory of 200 ft2 to provide six (6) air exchanges per hour.
The ASHRAE recommends the following air changes per hour of outdoor air to ensure adequate indoor air for various settings.
Suggested Air Exchanges Per Hour
The Healthy Air® Portable Air Purifier may be operated as a Recirculating System or as an Outside Vent Negative Pressure System. The out-of-the-box default configuration of the unit is for Recirculating Ventilation.
Recirculating Ventilation means the unit is designed to take in contaminated air through the inlets, filter contaminants, and discharge purified air from the exhaust vent, located on the bottom of the unit, back into the facility.
The components required to set up the unit for Outside Ventilation applications come with the unit, as outlined in the manual. When configured for Outside Ventilation, the system is designed to take in contaminated air through the inlet grille, filter contaminants, and discharge treated air out of the facility via an exhaust duct connection to the 4” dia. outlet port of the unit.
With the HealthyAir unit configured for vent-to-outside operation, and all doors, windows, and return air vents closed, negative pressure can be generated within a room. This type of setup results in a ventilation system that removes more exhaust air from the room than air that is allowed into the room, which limits the escape of contaminated air from the room.
The HealthyAir® Portable Air Purifier offers simple remote and touch control operation and is equipped with a three-speed fan that enables control of airflow and sound level.
Maintenance of the HA-PAP-G3 is simple and does not require the use of any tools. Naturally, when it is time for the filters to be periodically changed, the access door on the back of the unit can be effortlessly unlocked enabling easy access to the filter housing.
Filter Model & Replacement
The Healthy Air® Source Capture Air Purification System utilizes the HA-IFM-1111 Integrated Filter Module. Each unit comes with (1) a pre-installed filter.
The recommend filter replacement cycle is 6 months on average. However, the need for filter replacement naturally varies depending on the frequency and nature of use.
When the unit has been in operation for 400-hours, the Filter Change indicator light, on the Control Panel, will begin to flash. This serves as a reminder to inspect and/or replace the filter.
The Filter Change Timer can be reset by following the reset protocol outlined in the manual.
The following replacement filter is compatible with this unit:
